В МЭК 62040-3 определено 10 нарушений в питающей сети:
- Перерыв электропитания ( power outage) более 10 мс,
- Колебания напряжения ( voltage fluctuations) менее 16 мс,
- Voltage transients (4.16ms),
- Пониженное напряжение ( under-voltage) постоянно,
- Перенапряжение ( over-voltage) постоянно,
- Lightning effects (sporadic <1ms),
- Импульсные перенапряжения (voltage surges) менее 4 мс,
- Нестабильность частоты (frequency fluctuations) от случая к случаю,
- Voltage bursts (periodic),
- Искажение синусоидальности кривой напряжения (voltage harmonics) постоянно.
